Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they were a part of in Hamburg. The two knew at that point that this was a love union made in heaven. Ashley was 17 and had never been with a man before, so they took it slow. But, it was love at the first sight. Andrew prayed on New Year's Eve right before the new year began in 2016, that God would bless him with the last blessing of this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would be his bride. Ashley decided to plan the perfect wedding that had a rustic woodland theme. This would truly represent her and Andrew. For their dream wedding, the couple decided to take a little inspiration from the things they love. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of land Ashley was raised on. Ashley and Andrew enjoyed exploring, played, and walked the entire trail that led to the place that they exchanged "I I do" at the wedding of Ashley. Andrew, Ashley and their companions had already explored this area several times when they began to date. Since the wedding was largely DIY, personalization played an important part. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the arch for the ceremony and seating area, while Ashley did a great deal of decorating and painting.
